画面にまず目を引くのは、鮮やかなオレンジ色である。それは沈みゆく太陽の余熱を示し、太陽が姿を隠した後もなお、大地と空を力強く染め上げている。平面的に象られた木々は大小を変えて配置され、画面に遠近感を生み出している。

この夕焼け空を見つめると、一日の終わりを告げる静けさとともに、どこか寂しさも漂う。しかし同時に、沈みゆく太陽と大地に根を張る木々が、天と地の悠久の時の流れを体現し、自然そのものの深い象徴性を示している。

The viewer’s gaze is first drawn to the vivid orange that dominates the canvas. It represents the lingering heat of the setting sun—its afterglow that continues to bathe the earth and sky with a powerful radiance even after the sun has disappeared. The trees, simplified into planar forms, are varied in scale, creating a sense of depth across the composition.

This twilight sky speaks of day’s end, evoking a quiet melancholy tinged with solitude. Yet at the same time, the descending sun and the steadfast trees embody the eternal flow of time between heaven and earth. The work becomes a poetic meditation on nature’s enduring cycles, balancing transience with timeless continuity.
