セーヌ川に架かるグルネル橋。その中洲「白鳥の小径」の先端に立つ自由の女神像を前景に、穏やかな流れの向こうにエッフェル塔がそびえる。澄んだ空には飛行船が浮かび、赤い夕陽がパリの街をやさしく染め上げている。

小杉はこの構図の中で、都市の象徴と静謐な自然を同居させている。長いアーチを描く橋と川面のリズムが、空に浮かぶ飛行船の静かな浮遊感と呼応し、古典的な写実と詩的な想像力が溶け合う独自の世界を形作っている。

The Grenelle Bridge spans the Seine, with the replica of the Statue of Liberty standing on the tip of the Île aux Cygnes in the foreground. Beyond the calm waters rises the Eiffel Tower, while an airship drifts across the clear sky, accompanied by the warm glow of the setting sun.

In this composition, Kosugi unites Parisian landmarks with a sense of tranquil nature. The long arches of the bridge echo the gentle rhythm of the river, resonating with the airship’s silent float. The result is a lyrical vision where classical realism blends seamlessly with poetic imagination.
